That happened to me around the same time and I ended up passing a kidney stone. I thought I was going into labor so my husband took me to the hospital and they gave me a shot to stop contractions. But all of a sudden it got 100 times worse and I threw up everywhere. It was horrible! I was hospitalized for 5 days and the doctor had me on morphine. All while I was 8 months pregnant...

I agree with gallbladder. See jeanettes poll on same issue.(Hers is re: ribs) Tell your doctor. S/he may refer you to have an u/s to rule out gallstones. That`s what I am having done just to make sure that it is NOT something more serious.

it could be your gallbladder. does it hurt to touch under your right ribs and not left?
