It`s a somewhat strained relationship right now. I love inviting my friends over and entertaining company at my home, but going out to events is. . . interesting. I feel a little bit silly going out in my nice party dresses and heels when I`m a whale because my friends are all tall and thin and I`m a mere 5`5.

It was kind of funny how my friends reacted...my friends from college seemed much more excited about it than my life long friends i grew up with. Really, none of the girls i grew up with are in a serious relationship or have ever been in a serious relationship. I think they still have the mindset that we`re all still 13 or something, lol. So it is frustrating at times because they`re the girls I see more often now that i moved back to my home state and I feel like they try to be interested and involved sometimes, but I do notice I get left out more often and that they make comments like `I can`t wait till you pop the baby out so we can get sh*tfaced` And I just want to be like, I`m so over that stage of my life, you know?!? One day they`ll catch up though-i hope!!

Even my married with kids friends have stopped coming around as much... I am not sure what caused it maybe it was the pregnancy maybe it was just life got in the way but it seems i never hear from them and certianly never get invited over for things!!

all my friends are just concerned with me `popping` this baby out so we cn go drink....its really kind of annoying and sad.

My friends are excited and supportive but I don`t get invited out as much. Their usual activites include drinking and partying so it would be hard for me to join in.
