Baby-poll poll Has anyone done co-sleeping and if so did you use an in-the-bed sleeper (snuggle nest)? Why did you choose to do it, and was it worth it? Please leave lots of comments.

i had my daughter share the bed when she was a baby, ad i plan to with this one too. i chose this because we had the crib next to the bed, but by the time she was 2-3 weeks old, i was so exhausted, one night i went to pick her up to feed her, and my arms were `dead` and i actually dropped her 5-10 cm back into the crib. i have never been so worried! she ended up fine, but the scare shook me so much, i made my poor husband move onto a mattress in the lounge until she was sleeping through, and my baby and i shared the bed. i felt so much safer knowing i was not going to drop her again. we didn`t have a snuggle bed, i sleep really lightly, and i spoke with my doc, because we ere told it was dangerous, but my doctor said, its rarely a problem unless there are a)lots of blankets b) mum is overweight or c) mum has taken drugs or alcohol. since there wasn`t a danger of these happening, i felt fine with it, and now have a very healthy 5 year old! do whatever feels right as a mother, of course though, always speak with your doctor if you are uncertain. i really feel though, co-sleeping helped hake my baby more content and secure, knowing mum was right there whenever she needed me.

I did with my last daughter. It was easier to nurse and everything. I had 2 other school age kids to get up with in the am and my husband was out of state at the time....so it worked for me.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!! I am so sad that he outgrew it and we had to take him out of it ~ We got ours on ebay for less then retail price ~ Hunter slept perfectly in it and I was able to comfort him so easily and sleep peacingfully knowing he was safe ~ I just had my own blanket and daddy had his. It was perfect for transitioning him to the crib too since he knew it as his bed I placed it in his crib and he slept in it in his crib as he adjusted :) We co slept with our other two when they were babies and dont know how we did it without it ~ We bought the `First Years Close and Secure Sleeper`
