Vanbyland (254.6 days ago)I`d had a humidifier for ages, pre-pregnancy even.
jocelyncf (255.7 days ago)I`m 31 weeks along and have been on bedrest since 20. I purchased a Bionaire cool
mist tower humdifier on amazon a couple of months ago due to the dry winter conditions causing bloody nose during my pregnancy. I love this humidifier because it tells you the humidity level of the room and you can set it at a certain level so it goes on/off automatically based on current conditions and settings. It`s about $90....but well worth it! Also, it`d great because it has a reusable filter. I will definitely use this one in the nursery when that time comes!
absoluties (258.6 days ago)Depends where you live. You should check the humidity in your bedroom, should be at least around 38%. you can buy a cheap instrument that gives it to you at any hardware store. Or your hubby/bf could have the sensor in his watch! Put it on the bedroom dresser for the evening to get a good reading.
I live in Canada, and it`s pretty dry in winter because of constant indoor heating. I have a big humidifier that holds about a gallon of water that it dispenses throughout the night.
ktb (259.3 days ago)The only one I would suggest is a cool mist and the only time I use mine is when the kids have colds. I also use baby vics, vics for the humi, vapo bath, saline spray and an aspirator. As always - read the directions and ask your doc b-4 you use any over the counter stuff. We have had RSV here and plenty of colds so that is how I have come to use such an arsonel in my house. HTH!
twebdup (259.4 days ago)I`ve heard that any cool-mist humidifier is good.
monica9 (259.5 days ago)a cool mist to moisten the air.
julianna-momto4 (259.5 days ago)I actually bought a dehumidifier. But the air got to dry so I had to turn it off. But I don`t think you would need one unless the air is really dry.
