newmomcop (202.5 days ago)Thanks everyone for the comments, im going this afternoon to get adjusted...im actually excited and think it will make me feel so much better!!!
joyfulnoise (202.5 days ago)I have been thinking about doing it. We are pregnant w/ our 4th baby. I had terrible back pain in the 3rd trimester last time, and I`m hoping that a chiropractor is the answer vs. pain medications.
Mommy-2-B (202.6 days ago)I have gone twice! I slipped and fell on the ice and threw my neck and back out of whack...past issues with my back from car accidents. Now that I am pregnant, he adjusts you from a position where you start sitting up, and he rolls onto your back, and you crack before you are laying on your back. It has been wonderful. He also adjusts your hips by pulling your ankles. No laying on your tummy...it has been nothing but helpful so far. I would recommend it.
mona-lisa (203.4 days ago)My Midwife suggested it as well. I`m kind of nervous about it. I`ll keep an eye on your poll to get some feedback :-)
natalie75 (203.5 days ago)I will be going to one very soon. My midwife suggested it to prevent back labor and to make labor and delivery smoother.
RobinG (203.5 days ago)I went to a physical therapist who specializes in pregnant moms to be. I personally prefer a therapist over a chiro ~ I think they are safer but thats just my opinion (())
lindsayl (203.5 days ago)I am going to one. But its kind of a special chiropractor. Its not one where they adjust your back with their hands by pushing down hard on your back and cracking your sides. They use an Activator (they`ll show you) to put your bones back in place. THey also have special pillows for pregnant people so you don`t lay on your tummy, since you can`t. It has really helped me alot. But they also suggest lots of stretching and light exercise to keep your back flexible. Good Luck1 I recommend it!!
