It doesn`t bother me. people ask b/c they can`t decide what they think. If i can help them why not? I also like to get ideas from other people. Widen my options. I don`t think that what i say affects them in any huge why though. If they love a name it won`t matter what i think anyway.

not really! i like to look at names, and to see how my childs name fits in with his generation! if i get tired of answering them i just skip them and go to a different poll

I love looking at names people come up with for their babies. Its not that I want to have an impact but it gives me ideas for my own. Its also a great way if you are stuck between 2 names to just decide with the BF to have an online vote!

I like to tell people when they are going to ruin that kids life with the horrible names & they posted the poll in the first place to get people`s opinions so why would I say I like the name when I dont? When I posted a name poll I expected people to give me their opinions and most people didn`t like the name...I still went with my name choice but I did appreciate the people who had input. And hey some of us need stuff to do voting on name polls gives me something to do! Now the belly polls make me wanna shoot myself since theres no way in Hell I can tell anyone what sex their unborn child is!!!

some of the names i dont like at all so i may put my 2cents in or if i really like the name-otherwise i rarely vote on those and i never vote on the `am i too big or too small` who cares! every woman is diff. and every baby is diff. the name thing i can see as being a little diff mainly b/c i`m not sure i`d have a name that i absolutely love if i hadn`t got help w/ suggestions on this site...

i dont think you know what your talking about.. Some women ask because other women have stories to tell about that name for example i could relate to a women who was thinking of naming her child Dominic i also have a son named dominick we can discuss nick names middle names or other women might have input on a child being teased about a certain name...

Honestly...it gives me something to do when I am bored. I don`t vote because I want to make a huge impact...that`s a bit over the top. The stretch-marked belly pics get a bit annoying;-)...yup, you look pregnant...surprise!

I agree ~ being a behavioural therapist you should know that if you cant say something nice dont say anything at all. If you dont like the poll. Skip it ~ some people like to know what others think of a name ~ I know I did and I did enjoy getting input from others. Especially when I was stuck on a name or spelling.
