gr8scottswife (1436.4 days ago) 1. Is it hard to read or spell? Is the child going to be asked often how to pronounce or spell his name?
2. Does it suit your personality? If you love outdoors and hominess, stick with a simple name like Susan, Joshua, Melissa, Lily, James, Johnny, etc. If you are upper class and send all your children to private schools and enjoy the arts, think about more sophisticated names like Charlotte, Annissa, Sophia, Bradley, Chandler, etc. If you are into yoga and herbs and such, go with something like Reyne, Cloud, Aspen, Apple, Gigi, Cocoa, Velvet, etc. If you are traditional or sentimental, go with names from your family or traditional names like Susan, Violet, Vivian, Rose, Ida, Carol, Henry, Jack (also a timeless favorite), Glen, Roy, Jean, Joan, etc. If you are just in the middle / average, go with an average name like Matt, Scott, Adam, Anna, Tracy, Brady, Thomas, Susan, Cathy, Eve, Wendy, etc. If you are flamboyant, choose a far out name like Raya, Ginger, Candy, Kiki, Bebe, Lavendar, Man, Dylan, Dash, Cash, etc. You get the picture. My husband and I are just country, plain, downhome people, so we decided to choose names that depict who we are Travis, J. T., and Ada Taylor, for instance. My stepson is Conlan, and no one gets it right. That just isn`t a name I`d ever recommend to anyone with a boy. It`s too, `Don`t get my hands dirty` and hard for people to get. Remember: some names are so common they`re too common, like Aiden and Katie and Jennifer and James.
ktb (1466.2 days ago) I had names for my future kids picked in JR High. Makayla Jean and Jacob Scott. Makayla won for our 1st and for our son we went with family last names Myrick Lyons. We have NO idea what to name this one. It depends on where you want Lynn to go. Look at some of the names on the polls and figure out if they sound good or not.
jennifer7808 (1466.4 days ago) We ended up going with names of loved ones just changed a bit. For a girl we went with Kayleigh Rose after my grandmother Kathleen and Grandfather Roosevelt. A boy was Anthony after my husband and we went with Blake because neither would settle for Blaine or Lane. You just have to go with what you love. It may take a while. It tooks us months. Lynn is something you can do a lot with. Like Kaylyn or Katlyn....
Nan639 (1466.7 days ago) My husband and I just sat down with the baby names book, and wrote down the names we each liked. Then we compared lists and went from there. Wasn`t difficult the first time. This time, we aren`t agreeing on a boy`s name. Thankfully we still have a few months to decide. :)
teenMOMMIE (1466.7 days ago) we had our names picked out before we were pregnant. i honestly just picked cute names lol
threeangelsofmine (1466.7 days ago) i wish i could help ya! my husband named our first son, my hubby and brother both named my daughter this is the only baby i get to name =) and i chose a family name
jeanette (1466.7 days ago) Pretty much anything with Lynn has a country sound to me. My sister`s name is Lisa Lynn. Anyway, you could put an important family name in front of it. Even a boy`s name can sound nice in front of Lynn.
jjones0461 (1466.7 days ago) I want her to have a `country girl` name...if you have any tips please let me know!!! Her daddy and my middle names are both Lynn, so maybe something with Lynn in it...???
