they usually do it at 38-39 week i was unlucky they left me till 42

I am 33 weeks and my doctor picked a date for me last week. They pick the week before my due date. Procedure where i am from is 39 weeks.

My doc gave me the date about a month before. He picked the date going off when I would be 39 weeks. He said unless there were any complications (i have high blood pressure) or if I went into labor before, then 39 weeks was best. Everything went fine, and I had him at my 39th week :)

My date was scheduled around 32 weeks but I had limitations on the date. I didnt really pick it. She said unless there are complications she nor the hospital will allow it scheduled before 39 weeks so she looked at the calendar and said 39 weeks is 10/23 and thats the day I delivered, was scheduled. Some docs will do 38 weeks. When you go in ask if you can book it :) Hospitals like you to be scheduled early anyhow for registration and their scheduling.
