yeah. .I won`t go off of the heart beat. .my neice and I are both pregnant. .I`m haveing a girl she`s haveing a boy where 10 days apart and both of our heart beats have been the same the entire time

You can find out very soon, I think the heart beat is a total myth. There are too many factors that can change it for it to be accurate in predicting sex. Best of luck to you.

I`m not sure the heartbeat means anything.... I`ve always heard slow-boy and fast-girl. My sister didn`t find out what she was having until the birth and up to the very end the nurses were placing bets that it was a boy because the heart rate was so slow. It was a GIRL!! When I went in at a little over 9 weeks it was 182, 13 weeks 155, 18 weeks 160, 19 weeks 150...it`s a boy!! Good luck! Either way, it sounds healthy!

The heart rate will be higher at the beginning of your pregnancy and will drop as you go along. My baby`s HR was 182 at 11 weeks. It was 140 at 32 weeks. So who knows what week the old wives` tale is relating to. It changes!

The old wives tale is~~~~Fast=girl Slow=boy My little girl hb was 167 at 9 weeks.....

There are old wives tales about the beating of the heart apparently if its fast its a boy if its slower its a girl im 22 weeks pregnant and when i heard the heart beat back then it was 150. AWhich was a bit slower and im having a boy so i dont think those heart beat theories are true Best of luck

at 11 weeks id say its too early, but make sure you remember it :] cus the next appt one counts
