twinstwice (175.3 days ago)I nursed twins and we had to supplement with pumped milk for the first couple weeks until I saw a lactation consultant and she suggested manual breast compressions while they fed and that worked like a charm... they got tons of milk that way.
emy (180.5 days ago)I BF and would suggest waiting to give her a bottle. She may become use to it too early. Are you pumping right before or after she eats? You have to make sure you are nursing or pumping as much as she would eat. If not your supply will not keep up with her demands. Just my opinion. I birthed a 9.7 oz big boy! He would feed sometimes for 45 min...
erphn (181.1 days ago)You might have hit a growth spurt time! Make sure when she`s on the breast that she`s sucking and swallowing the whole time. Do some compressions - that might help. You`ll know she`s getting enough if she`s getting 6 wet and 3 poos a day.
monica9 (182.6 days ago)i dont even have a baby yet, but I will tell you, Im studying nutrition and have been studying on infant nutrition for the past few months, if your baby is drinking the pumped milk, let your baby drink it. They are constantly going through growths spurs and they know what they need and will let you know when it is too much. Let your baby do her thing b/c she obviously needs the nutrients. good luck!!!!!!!
