I had a scare sometime in the middle of the 2nd trimester I started having intense contractions and was shaking and couldn`t move my hubbs put me in the bath and called our neighbor/midwife she said I was dehydrated and that I just needed to drink water constantly and to even try Gatorade to keep up my electrolytes...end of story I thought I was going to miscarry when all that had to be done was drink enough water! Just call your doc or midwife they always know whats best! hope you get better dear!

I started having contractions less than 5 minutes apart at the end of my 7th month. The doctor called me out of work for a week and the day I was supposed to go back, I had a kidney stone. Sometimes the contractions are caused by something else... I had my baby just a week before his due date. Also, my friend is 6 months right now and she was having close contractions as well. Her`s were caused by a bladder infection.
