well the scan I had was `Three lines` and was really different to my boys scans , so from that i do think that it is reliable...I`ll be really shocked if its not right!!!

I had 3 lines which my radiologist said is definatley a girl.

my daughter had 3 lines. my nephew`s picture showed 2 lines, so i would assume its pretty accurate.

yes my daughter had the three lines, and i had my scan today, and we saw he is definitely a boy, it looked totally different! the sonographer would have said ` it`s a ..... or i think it looks like a ....` they will usually tell you how sure they are, if they sounded certain, they generally are
