tto (212.1 days ago)My dr told me drink lots of water too. I was having them all the time. They also told me to rest and take a benadryl because it will relax the smooth muscles of the uterus. When I pay attention to how much I drink, they are much less.
monica9 (213.3 days ago)WATER WATER WATER! Make sure you are drinking over 64 oz per day. They say dehydration is the number one agitator for braxton hicks. They say just drinking 2-3 glasses during the BH will calm them down instantly! good luck!
baby34me (213.8 days ago)With my first I started getting them around 18 weeks daily...everything was fine...they were not comfortable though...Now on pregnancy #3...AI am 16 weeks also and have gotten them a few times. Last night after dinner they were pretty bad. It is just your body getting ready for the real thing. I wish there was some way to stop them..but unfortinatly i don`t thinl there is! Good luck!
vismum (213.9 days ago)I am nearly 22 weeks and I get them a lot, sometimes very frequently. I got them with my first pregnancy early and often too. Don`t be worried, it is completely normal. I get them all the time, sometimes really low down and it feels strange. Your uterus will be in fantastic shape when you give birth!
