My dr said the same thing. I reseached it a little and it said it COULD be an indicator of Trisomy 18, but IS NOT by itself. My quad marker came out fine and the baby is growing fine so the dr doesn`t think I need an amnio at all. He said it is much more common than what the internet says. I am having another sono at 28 wks just so he can prove to me that they`re gone. Don`t worry.

i had my 20 week scan last Wednesday`s, and my baby has a chloride cyst on the right side of his brain. the doctor said this is ok, and they ALWAYS disappear. your baby will be fine too, don`t worry, have they asked to do a follow up scan?
