Hospital, no epidural, but a shot of stadol to help me sleep during the beginning. I actually liked it and can`t wait to do it again here in 7 months!

At the hospital, IV and epidural. I tried to go without pain meds, but even the Dr. suggested it because I wasn`t progressing. Once I got the Epidural, my body could relax and I progressed a lot faster.

Women have been having healthy babies without medical intervention for thousands of years, and a home birth plan ALWAYS includes emergency measures and safe transport to a hospital if needed. Thant being said, I would never judge anyone for any choice because it was my goal to have a natural no-meds home birth, but had an epidural in the hospital, and let me say it was the most perfect expirience ever (you can read my birth story). I was really able to enjoy the entire expirience because I decided to stop judging myself and just go with the flow.
