Actually diarrhea is one of the accurate signs of labor. it`s all physical, not really to do with adrenaline anxiety. What I remember from the class: nesting - diarrhea - mucus plug - water breakage - are some of the symptoms with 4 days of labor.

if you are getting nervous that can definitely make you have diarhea. Just the anticipation of it coming and that you are so close to the big day is enough to loosen those bowels! good luck!

I got very nauseous right before going into active labor with my second.

I had diarrhea for a couple weeks before I went into labor.

i woke at 1am with bad diarrhea and my baby was born 9 hours later

I had diarrhea right when my other symptoms started...it was actually what tipped me off! Apparently it is your bodies may of `clearing the path`. I think I was a bit queasy, too. If you are close to giving birth, this may be it! Good luck.
