I had one done at 26 weeks which was great, and then I had one done at 37 weeks for medical reasons, and you could barely see anything. The lady doing the last ultrasound said that I probably wouldn`t be able to see much this late, because the baby is so scrunched! Good luck with your decision. and Congrats

well to be honest, I dont think you will get your money out of it! We had one done at 25 weeks, amazing! We had another one scheduled but had to cancel it at 30 weeks and they couldnt get us in till now.. There is no room in there for him to move! SO yeah it was cool to see his face.. but I enjoyed the 25 week so much better! The only good thing to really come out of it was they confirmed that my due date was wrong and I was further along! Hope that helps!

It`s so close to the end...just wait so you will be totally surprised. I think it will be more special that way.

I think it`s okay, I am getting a 2d ultrasound at close to 17 weeks and another package at the end.

You can get a very good idea of what they look like etc... but seeing them in the flesh is TOTALLY different! The fluid in there does distort things a lot. I wondered the same thing but I think I am going to do it anyway. Good luck!

I had to have scan at 36 weeks (medical reasons) and i didnt know the sex etc and didnt want to know and i had to ask the sonographer to make sure i couldnt see anything or not let me see the baby on the screen. the surprise is the best.
