well the same thing happened to me. So what i did is took one first thing in morning with my first pee the line were both dark. Good Luck

Congrats...it sounds like you`re pregnant! I had the same scenerio with my first child. I was several days late, and the plus sign line was much lighter than the other line. I read the instructions, and I think it said this is a common outcome if you`re taking the test when you`re several days past your AF date. I made an appt with my dr, and it was verified...I was pregnant. I have no doubt you are! :~)

Well update for everyone: I took a second test today and it said pregnant. I`m going to take another one tomorrow morning just in case. LoL. Then get it confirmed by the doctor! Thanks to all!!

I was a few days early, but I had a weird feeling so I took at test one morning. I had a very faint line that didn`t really appear until about 2 minutes after the test was completed. I called my doctor that morning and went for a blood test. It came back a BFP with a hormone level of 50. About 5 days later the 2nd blood test came back at 925. The pee tests are a good start, but you really need the blood test for firm confirmation. I`d call you doctor.

It took me a year and a half to get pregnant, so trust me...I know that the last thing you want to do is give yourself false hope. I recommend going to your doc immediately for a BLOOD TEST...no chance of a false positive on that one. Good luck and baby dust to you :0)

the way the test works is they measure levels of particular pregnancy hormone in your wee. the hormone is not as strong in very early pregnancy and gets higher and higher levels as the weeks go on. if you have any line at all, it means the test has detected some of this hormone. congratulation`s

it was very faint with mine at first too. i ended up taking four tests within a week just because i was shocked!! The doc thing...its not as urgent as people say. all they do now a days is give you the same damn test you took at home! unless you request the blood test. its not a big deal if you want to wait another week to be sure and then make an apt. dont freak!

A faint line is still a line. Call your Dr. to make an appt. Chances are your results will be the same with another home test. If you get another home test use your first morning pee as someone else suggested it will have the most concentration of the pregnancy hormone.

get that new test that just flat out says `pregnant` or `not pregnant` that is what i ended up doing. i took one that was a really faint line, then went and got the one that just says it, and it said `pregnant`. just a suggestion but thats what i would do

i was 2 days late and took a test and it did the same thing to me!! i took another test the next morning and it had a line that was barely so i went to the doctor that next day and it was still positive!!

Go out again, buy prenatal vitamins and another pregnancy test, just to see a clearer result.Pregnant means pregnant!CONGRATS!

i would go out and get another test to take...take it first thing in the morning with your morning pee. And PLEASE keep me informed...honestly, sounds like your prego, but take another as i suggested to be sure...good luck!
