Ady-and-Maylies-Momma (292 days ago)Thank you for all the help! I go into the doctor this friday, and I will bring it up! Thanks again ladies...don`t know what I`d do without you! :)
Caracaya (292.2 days ago)Yeah, this sounds more like a blood pressure issue to me. I am naturally anemic, and I never had those problems. The exhaustion could be simple first trimester symptoms, as I had those too. Get checked out by your doctor next time you see her/him. You don`t want to risk falling or crashing if you feel like faining.
lnd22 (292.8 days ago)I get dizzy when I stand up as well. I read somewhere (lol I read a lot about being pregnant) that you may experience dizziness when you stand more so when you are pregnant... try to get up slower. As far as difficulty breathing, I have been experiencing that as of today... not too sure about why.
kater (293.1 days ago)have you had your blood pressure checked?
mine is low 92/54 and i get symptoms like this, it would be a good idea to check yours.
monica9 (293.2 days ago)They should have checked your iron levels at your first appointment. You just had a baby, so your nutrient stores havent been restored yet so You are going to be low in iron especially if you were with your first. good luck and get to the doctors b/c you will need to know if you have to get ivs or not
phatmommy82 (293.2 days ago) I had the same thing in my pregnancy and I am not anemic! Got dizzy and even fainted a few times, exhausted ALL the time too! You just have to take it easy and make sure you are eating healthy balanced meals! Since you are anemic keep taking your iron and eat lots of raisin bran! Getting dizzy and being exhausted with how far along you are is quite normal and it will start getting lighter and not happen as much the farther along you get! It has alot to do with your body making adjustments and stuff to accomidate baby and the hormones!
Good luck and hope you start to feeling better soon!
Niamh-Jo (293.2 days ago)You might need an iron supplement -- I know you say you are getting a lot of iron but do you mean through diet or are you already on a supplement? I was getting a lot of iron too through diet, but still needed to go on a supplement, probably because I`m having twins but if you`re already prone to anaemia then it`s worth getting a blood test to check your levels.
