twinstwice (286.2 days ago)We used cribs with rails that lower. I haven`t used them much except to change the sheets but I think I will start to now as I get bigger with this pregnancy and my back is starting to hurt.
tto (289 days ago)Didn`t know about the recall thing- yikes! But ours is the adjustable kind and it allowed me to put him in while asleep less clumsily and pull him out. But, one of the biggest benefits is changing the sheets was easier! You don`t have to reach down so far and wrestle as much. This is important at 3 am after they have an accident or throw up!
kater (290.8 days ago)i had a adjustable rail for my daughter, and honestly i rarely used it. wen she was littler, i had the base raised to i didn`t have to bend far anyway, and when she was older i just reached in and got her. i didn`t know there were cots with static rails on both sides though...im in Australia, when i go cot shopping i think ill look to see if there are any static ones
sadielady (291.1 days ago)we have the kind with the rails that lower. but have the side that lowers against the wall. because my son is a monster child. hes very strong and im afraid hell push the rail down and hurt himself.. so i will probably do a fixed rail with my next.
tiredmommy (291.4 days ago)I have a crib w/ rails that lower. I love it b/c it allows me to get my daughter (who is almost 3 now) in and out of it without straining my back (or putting pressure on my pregnant belly.
captshelley (291.4 days ago)My crib has the fixed rails. To be honest, I`ve used the crib once since she has been born (3 months). I didn`t want to buy the adjustable rail cribs because of all the recalls, injuries and deaths. There aren`t any recalls on the fixed rail cribs.
