I just had a little girl and her heartrate was like that. My friend just found out what she was having, also, the heartbeat was in the 160`s and she found out she`s having a girl! So, I predict a girl!! :)

Most people would say that a heart rate over 150 would indicate a girl. But my husband`s cousin just had a baby boy, and the heart rate had always been around 160...so you never know, I guess.

can`t really go off heartbeat. .my and my 2 nieces (were all prego right now) all have the same heartbeat. . I`m haveing a girl and thier both having boys

My first daughter`s heart rate was always below 150 my second daughters was always above 150. We are keeping this sex a surprise and so far the first 6 months were above 150 and these last three have been below so I`m thinking the old wives tale is a crock.

I asked my Dr that and she said it`s really not an indication of gender. My baby`s heart rate hasn`t gotten above 155 when we’ve listened to it on screenings, but it goes up and down depending on the baby’s activity…We`re having a boy....so according to the old wives tale the heart rate did indicate a boy… I hope it turns out you’re having what you’re hoping for!
