Christina1984 (286 days ago)i put a tiny bit of baby cereal in her night time bottle and she started sleeping through the night.they say not to do that but my mom, my grandmom, great-grandmom and aunts all said they did it and told me to try it.that was at 1 month. she was eating by 4 months. she also had a night time routine. a bath with johnsons night time bath wash, then a baby massage, then her bottle. look up baby massage, they will show u how to do it and it really calms them down and relaxes them

Deletepink.N.blue (286.9 days ago)We did have a routine after the first week and he cought on to it quick. What we did was use a bedtime bath body wash and give him a bath at the same time EVERY night. After his bath we used the bedtime lotion and massaged him rubbing his feet and belly neck and arms! put on a warm sleeper. And a good size bottle.. after a couple of nights he was only waking up at 2 am and then early in the morning. but when we countinued this for 5 nights or so he finally slept threw it! just make sure bath happend every night so it become the same routine to him. as well as bedtime.. give the last bottle at the same time.. for example was did bath at 8 and then bed at 9..then when he got the hang of it he wanted to go to bed earlier.. make sure baby stays awake for at least 3 hours before your routine. Sometimes when our son would try to fall asleep before the routine we would sing and dance do anything to keep him up! half the time he was dead asleep and we would still give him his bath! He was 2 weeks old when he first sleep threw the night and pretty much has been since then (except teething) Good luck and i hope this helps!
