I haven`t heard that but my mom said that my sister wouldn`t take her breast after she got pregnant again. So it may be related to fluctuating hormone levels for you.

i`ve heard and read about this supposedly when u get your period while breastfeeding it sometimes changes the breastmilk some babies give up breastmilk while u are menstruating and then when u r not they are fine with it but it doesnt mean u need to stop

I actually heard that in my childbirthing class. She said that it may be sour or just different all together. Maybe a different consistency??? She said that it should change once your period is over. Good luck to you!

haha...captshelley`s comment was pretty good. My MIL wouldn`t dare say something like that to me (I hope), but my mother would! But on another note...my daugther started becoming less interested around 3 months also...but it turned out that I wasn`t making enough milk for her.

i have NEVER heard of that and im a breastfeeding counsellor, i think its more likely coincidence...keep with it and she will be fine

she turns her head and starts crying...this happened the EXACT day i started my (really heavy) period!...She just about screams and up to 3 months shes got nothing but breastmlk and now she get about 2 forumal bottles a day and i normally breastfeed but its crazy how uninterested she was overnight!!

Where did you hear that load of crap? Was it your MIL? My MIL would come up with something like that. Was it my MIL? lol
