kater (229.3 days ago)in australia, it is a really popular name, especially among those of uk decent, probably as a reach back to their roots! if you love the name, go for it!
absoluties (231.8 days ago)I like to think more globally, maybe because I moved around much... the first thing I`d look for in a baby`s name is how easy other kids can tease him, second is how it can be pronounced in different languages. Unless the name is very dear to you, and you insist on it, in that case go for it. He`s your baby, and naming our babies is a gift we have :)

danilynn (232.2 days ago)Okay- I say, either ten other moms on this site like this name, or you just keep putting up the same Angus poll. If you like it, you like it. Don`t worry about what everyonoe else thinks. Besides the cow thing though- I think kids will find Angus really similar to Anus...Not too flattering.
pregosharpe (232.3 days ago)Well if its popular in the UK and thats where you`ll be living then I say go for it if you like it. Its hard for anyone in the US to give a valuable opinion because of the stigmata that word has for us here: Cattle. Kids are cruel and will find a way to make fun of anyone for anything regardless of their name :) If you like it, go for it!
