Ive always used a ob but it seems that a midwife would be more relaxed like someone said but also if there is an emergency or something goes wrong, a midwife isnt a doctor and you would have to go to the hospital.

Midwives are not doctors. I just heard of a story last year from a friend where this girl had a midwife, and ended up with a stillbirth because an emergency c-section should have taken place hours earlier. It`s so sad to hear about stories like this in this day in age.

I used a OB first time around and this time I am using a midwife and am 39 weeks and so far I am loving it. It is so much more personal and relaxed.
