I named my girl Brodi Addison. And I never thought of a disease. I love the name :)

Being a nurse I have to say that Addison`s disease is really RARE!! So you have no problem, most people I`m sure aren`t even aware that there is a disease called Addison`s Disease. A women a work with (also a nurse) named her daughter Addison Lily and I just love it!

it`s the name of that really hot red-headed Doctor that was on Grey`s Anatomy before she left to star in her own spin off. I like the name.

Personally I`m not a fan of the name, however I don`t think of Addison`s disease when I hear it either. Also I`ve noticed alot of people (not just here, on other sites too) use it for a girl, and having a friend whose son is called Addison I`d have to say that it`s a boys name to me. (No idea what you`re having, just stating my observations on the name)
