my7thbabyduemay20th2008 (173.1 days ago)Just to add to my last comment, it only really matters counting your baby`s weeks while they are very young, say up to 6 months, after that, just go by the 22nd of each month, as on the 22nd of feb next year, your baby will be a year old.
my7thbabyduemay20th2008 (173.1 days ago)The reason we go by weeks in pregnancy and after birth, is because there aren`t 28 days to every month. With all my kids, at 4 weeks they were a month old, and 8weeks they were 2 months old and so on and so on... I hope this helps
masha (176.7 days ago)1 month is 30-31 days, not 4 weeks which is only 28 days.
RobinG (177.2 days ago)Its the date ~ the 22nd. And when you got to docs every 2 4 and 6 months etc it will be scheduled based on the 22nd, not weeks. The 2 months check will be April 22nd not at 8 weeks. That is how insurance co`s recognize it too ~ they acknowledge the 2 months check on the 22nd ~ hope that helps.
