Sorry but what is back labour?

michelle (180.2 days ago)
Yes its when the babyx back is against your back(posterior), not an ideal position as it can prolong labour but they can turn.I had back labour with both my babies. My 1st was 23hrs and he was the wrong way coming out, with my 2nd i had back labour but she turned thru labour and it was muck quicker 3 and a half hours.

I had back labour with two of my three deliveries, they were all facing my back when they were born.

I think it is myth-ish. I got back labor with my son, he was turned so the back of his skull was pushing on my back (if I remember right). But, I also had it with 23wk old son that I lost. He was feet first and he was very little so it wasn`t from his positioning. I asked my dr about it and he said he thinks some women would get it no matter what because of how we are built and shaped. I`m a lucky one and would get it no matter what. :(

  10. My 2 month old baby is not sleeping to good during the day and has only gone done awake to later fall asleep alone a handfull of times. Usually I need to cuddle her or feed her to sleep and I really want to find out ways to get out of this bad habit without her screaming the place down. If you know of any websites or have any advice I would be SO GRATEFULL for comments. :-)
