my son is nearly 10 mth i keep trying some lumpy food but he keeps gagging.Not all the time so i was wondering how long your little ones took.Thx for all the comments Dee

Hi a baby shouldnt be fed any solids until at least 4 months

they dont chew their food when they dont have teeth - they squash it against the roof of their mouth with their tongue. If you are wondering when to start feeding your baby solids, wait til they start showing interest in what the family eats, or you can start introducing farex at about 4 months, but dont give them anything that needs chewing until they are quite a bit older. hope that helps
