denee85 (178.7 days ago)We are giving our son my hunnys brothers name for our sons middle name-Scott..
His brother Scott commited suicide about 8 years ago and although I don`t agree with suicide and it`s an awful tragic thing, hunny loved his brother dearly and our son is being named after him because of hunnys love for his brother-NOT because of how Scott left this world...So if that person was special to you then I`d say it`s perfectly fine to use their name.
kathleen (178.7 days ago)and it does not mean your child is going to follow in his/her footsteps. u love and miss that person 4 who they were not what they did so keep their memory alive by using their name to name your child if thats what u really want.xx
RobinG (178.8 days ago)Exactly :) Just cause they died that way doesnt mean they were a bad person inside ~ esp if they are dear to you ~
