Oh yeah, the Key Fit 30 is the model. It`s good for up to 30 lbs. Many others only go up to 22-23 lbs. Graco has the `SafeSeat` which goes up to 30, but I didn`t like any of their patterns.

I saw on Consumer Reports that Chicco was very highly rated for safety and ease of use. That`s what I plan to get.

well, ive heard that car seats with bases arent that safe b/c if in accident babies the car seat can snap off, but most all carseats are designed with bases. so in my opinion, go with the brand that is safest. Chicco has never had a recall on their products (besides small toys). I bought everything chicco. Graco is constantly getting recalled. hope this helps. btw- i have the chicco key fit travel system.
