Pregnancy-poll poll Has anyone else had contractions that were one on top of the other (like 3-5 in a row w/ no breaks) after been given Pitocin for induction?
(Pregnancy poll by tiredmommy, 176 days ago)
Yes...Pitocin made my contractions irregular and I didn't have breaks in b/w many contractions.
No...Pitocin didn't cause that problem for me.
No, but I've heard of this happening to other people.

yep, pretty much sounds like my labor the first time around

leahs (175.5 days ago)
I was induced once with pitocin, once by having my water broken, and one labor was all natural and with all 3 labors during the final stages of dilation (from 8-10cm)my contractions were one on top of another, I didn`t find any difference with being induced.

All my contractions where right after each other like 3 in a row and then a few minutes in between then 3 more contractions. During the pushing stage they tell you to push through a contraction then rest and wait for the next one but I would push for several minutes straight because my contractions were right on top of each other. It`s frustrating.
