I had the same thing! Come to find out I needed a root canal which occured when i was 5months prego! NO FUN! I just took Tylenol and tried oragel, and it didn`t really help much. You need to get into your dentist ASAP!

My husband had a bad toothache and used ice...not on the outside of his mouth, he crushed it and applied it directly to the gum/tooth. He said this was the only thing that gave him any relief. So, I`d try sucking on some ice...

Hi I`m in UK so not sure of your medications but a gel which numbs the gum should be safe. Also warm salty mouthwashes will help keep the area clean and this is obvious but eat on the other side, sometimes biting on something like cotton wool can push the tooth back into the gum giving short term relief, good luck

Gargal with warm salt water it works a treat I have trouble with my wisdom teeth every couple of months and this has always worked for me!!

I am probably going to spell it wrong.. but call your doctor.. you can take davist.. I had a pinch nerve in my upper back and called my doctor and they said it was perfectly fine to take well pregnant but just not long term and called me in some! Such a life saver! I was in so much pain also.. and also nothing else was working! Good luck!

Something as simple as bonjela to numb the pain may help. i use it when i get mouth ulsurs and really helps, hope this is some use to you.
