lisareader (168.9 days ago)I meant to write that I labored at home for 17 hours. (I was at 7 when I got to the hospital!).
lisareader (168.9 days ago)I did hypnobirthing and it was wonderful. I took the class annd listened to the CD every night for the last three months I was pregnant. I aslo practiced all the breathing. I was in labor for 22 hours with back labor (my baby was posterior), and I labored at home for 22 hours. Hypnobirthing got me through all of it!
Ady-and-Maylies-Momma (170.7 days ago)I couldn`t afford the classes, but I got the book and the cd. I ended up not finishing the book, but I learned the breathing. It`s honestly a little weird. I didn`t do a lot of what it said, but the breathing did work and it does help you relax. I did have a shot of stadol after water was broke which was against the book, but besides that, I had an all natural birth. I say that the only thing that really helped was the relaxation and the breathing techniques. I`m doing it the same way next time, and I`ll use the breathing from the book again. I like them better than the `lamaz` breathing hehehoos.
