The word that I came acrossed that I think discribes the swallowing issue your baby has is dysphagia ~ I found lots online that relates to it (((()))) Maybe something there will help is you search that key word (()) Keep us posted ~

The little boy I care for has Velo Cardio Facial Syndrome ~ Some babies have the obvious cleft palet with the lip open and some dont like the boy I care for but inside his mouth there palet are concerns ~ he has trouble too with eating ~ he is 3 now, it also effects thier heart ~ your little one probably doesnt have this but perhaps there is a syndrome like his that effects the palet as well and effects swallowing. Opitz syndrome can effect swalling but it has lots of other things too but maybe there is another syndrome that has less characters ~ and effects just the swallowing abilities
