I had mine two months before my due date, and it was exhausting, both the shower and putting stuff away. I say the earlier the better so you enjoy it more.

I also think you should get the ball rolling now, and have it around week 30 or so. That way you aren`t too huge to enjoy it, and you will have plenty of time to buy whatever else you need before baby arrives.

You`re 27 weeks, gotta leave a week or 2 for ppl to RSVP and get the party going. So get on in now girl, cause mine was last week (week 36) and my feet were killing me, I had cramps all night after. Fun, but drains you more.

I have mine next Saturday at almost 34 weeks!! That was not my ideal option but since both our families are globe trotters that was when it would finally suit everyone. It really is a bummer since I have to travel out to NC to have it (like 6 hours drive) cause that`s where EVERYONE lives!!I would defently think earlier is better esp. if you have to go to it rather than it coming to you!

im getting one when im 27 weeks but thats because we have to go back to arkansas im in kentucky and this will be the last trip they are getting to hard to take but i think around then is a good time then you will have time to buy the things that you dont have and not be rushed

According to etiquette: you can have a shower beginning at 6 months, but 7-8 months is more appropriate. I think 6-7 months is good - 8 months is cutting it a little close if you happen to deliver early and if you need to save for some key pieces you don`t get at the shower, etc. Just my thoughts.
