JsMomAndOneMoreComing (106 days ago)I only used DREFT for my son. Sometimes their lil sensitive skin might not like too much more, like the fabric softener. Just feel your baby out, it looks like most people get away with using regular detergent. Have you asked your doc??

Deletetiredmommy (152.5 days ago)I used `All` baby detergent. My daughter had eczema, so I was looking for something gentle but not too pricey - like Dreft. I didn`t use fabric softner either. Once she turned 1, I started using our regular detergent and a fabric softner sheet, and she`s fine.

DeleteKarenVG (152.6 days ago) I just used my normal detergent and softener, though I had to change my softener for a bit when my second was still a baby (under 1) as she seemed to react but not 100 percent it was that. w have gone back to it now and she is ok. If you are gpong to do all their laundry separate then you may as well try a baby detergent, but I wash all together and has always been fine with regular detergent.

Deleteagonzales (152.6 days ago)I have used and will continue to use my regular detergent and softeners. I never had any problems with it.

Deletecandace3 (152.7 days ago)When my first daughter was born I spent th ebig money on the infant detergent. Then when I had my 2nd and she was in the NICU for 3 months, I asked what they washed tht baby clothing and blankets in and they said plain tide. I figure if tide is gentle enough for preemies and sick babies, it is good enough for me. Then with my last one, I just used my `normal` detergent and fabric softner and she is fine. Good luck.
