hope im not too late. other then the obvious diapers bottles, i would say a bottles washer, baby bath, towels, soap, nose sucker, moniters, diaper genies are great,a swaddle blanket, rubbing alcohol for the ambilical cord. cant think of much more i may have 4gotten too my daughter is 3.

Just wanted to comment on the ` he can sleep with you comment` I have been reading reviews that it can lead to SIDS and Also there are alot of reports of parents rolling over on the baby and smothering them. Just a heads up... I would at least use a bassinet or a moses basket to be safe.

These are what we got :) Diapers, Wipes, Swing, Soothing motions Fisher Price Glider is one of the GREATEST things out now that they didnt have when my other two were born ~ Hunter STILL uses it, lol. Pacifier, burp clothes, Receiving blankets, sheets, socks, sleepers, onesies, bottle dryer if you are using bottles, stroller, car seat, sling, monitor, wipe warmer, bath soap, lotion, wash clothes, tylenol, vaseline & gauze if you have a circ done, nose aspirator, powder, Close and secure sleeper for co sleeping ~ saves ALOT of room have this bed in your bed and much safer ~ we used a portable crib and it too was much better then a regular one ~ Fisher Price Space Saver high chair (sells out alot cause it is so popular) my son started using it at 2 months cause it reclines perfectly for a baby, gosh the list could go on and on ~ I say get what YOU feel YOU need, not everyone likes the same thing as you know from having a child already so try things out and decide for yourself ~ there are new things that come out all the time so go to the stores and look around :) (())I have 3 sons and wouldnt have it any other way :) I LOVE having my boys ~ my first was 4.5 years old then my 2nd and it was awesome with this age spread! Be sure to get a new big brother shirt for the hospital for your older son :)
