Hey hun! If your having contractions and not BH then you need to time them. When they get to be 3 minutes apart or you can no longer stand the pain you are allowed to go to the hospital.. If the contractions are consistant then yes your baby is on the way even if they are every 10 minutes.. it may be a little bit longer untill `active labor` but your still in the process. Hot baths, walking and sex will speed up the process and the sperm will help your uterus contract! Good luck MOmma!

i was sent home with my daughter saying i wasnt in labor and it turned out i was. i had bad contractions and they got worse thru the night and i couldnt sleep it was so bad by 6am i couldnt handle it and there was blood. i went back to the hospital and i was 10 cm dilated and ready to push. so it sounds to me like u could have the baby really soon
