LOL I love Autumn and Aspen. Unfortunately both are already used in my family circle, so I`ll have to use something else. Dallas is definitely a boy`s name, I think... and I don`t really like it. I`m married to a Texan, so we already have an Austin. I told him we probably will never have a Dallas, just because I don`t like it. LOL Good luck with Autumn!

You ladies are awesome! I showed my hubby the poll just so he could get an idea. At first he said I did not ask anyone, then he said that he only cared about my feelings. This is where it opened the door, I told him I have been telling him that I don`t like it. I think he finally saw that deep down I just did not really like this name. I think he is hurt but understands. I have always let him have the choice...guess sometimes it is hard to let go. I know in my hearts of hearts she will be named Autumn, and I think he does too.

Dallas is DEFINATELY a boy`s name!! Your poor daughter - if she is named that then she will be forever made fun of or before people meet her they will assume she is a boy. Autumn is LOVELY! I think it is an under-used, classic and gorgeous name. Also, you might want to point out that since he got to chose the names for the first 2 children, it is your turn. Good Luck!

my friends daughter`s name is dallas, i never told her but i dont like it. i think autumn is way pretier for a girl. i would rather my name be autumn than dallas, i wouldnt want to be called dallas at all

I admit to being somewhat prejudiced against it, but I don`t like Dallas as a girl`s name (the only female Dallas I know is an all around lousy person, the male Dallas is a really nice guy!). Autumn is much prettier for a girl. Perhaps you`ll both have to fold and go for a name that you both agree on. Good luck!

This is my first girl, I have a stepdaughter and three boys. This is our third child together. Um kind of hoping it is the last..heehee. 5 is enough

Dallas sounds like a boy`s name, and Autumn sounds like a girl`s name. If he chose the two boys` names, it`s only fair that you choose this baby`s name. Are you having a boy or a girl?

Dallas is more of a masculine name in my opinion. Autumn is very pretty. Plus if this is your only girl, you should have a girly name like Autumn
