It really depends on what week they told you ~ if you were told prior to 17 weeks there is a 50/50 chance it is right or wrong. I know two friends who were told wrong. When my tech told me at 17.5 weeks we talked about it ~ My SIL also is a RN there and was in L&D for years ~ they both said tech will sometimes share before 16-18 weeks they are taking a huge risk in doing so since it boys can decend after 15 weeks. She also has been a tech for 25-30 years and said even with her experience in highrisk scans she still will not tell before then cause it is taking a chance in being wrong. So if you were told after 17-18 weeks chance are good it was correct, if it was before then then there is a 50/50 chance it could be wrong ~
