Oh that`s silly; I know black kids who live in black neighborhoods and they have names like Payton, Madison, Jordan (and these are just the girls!), Boston, Kimberly, etc. Black children have all kinds of names.

I like the name keegan. Doesnt sound `white` or `black` to me. If you and your spouse like it GO WITH IT!! Its your child, dont let it bother you what other people think. Its your bundle of joy not theres

I also have a biracial son and it irritates me when people say that I`m dressing him `too white` etc. Stereotyping is so stupid. My son`s name is Aiden and I wouldn`t change it for the world.

What do they want it to be a `black` name? I mean, please! Name the child what you want to call him. Naming him a `black` name is very stereotypical and racial. What jerks some people can be!

Its NOT their baby ~ who cares what they think an besides it is a name that fits ANY child of ANY ethnic background :) I love the name!

if thats what you like who cares what everyone else says-he`s YOUR son!!! i had the same issue...and i wanted a name for my son that wasnt a `white` name or a `black` name..i got lots of opinions on the names that i was going to use but when i finally found the perfect name that i loved-there was nothing anyone could say to change my mind!! if you think thats the perfect name for your son-go w/ it!!!

Hi, Im a white person and to me Keegan dosnt sound at all white. If anything in the UK it is more of a surname. Go with it hun if thats what you want!! Good Luck
