Most of our stuff has either been a gift or has been second hand. It would be nice to have new stuff but we don`t have that much money to spare and I figure that the baby isn`t going to notice if its new or not.

Oh wow; I haven`t spent hardly anything. So far I`ve purchased two or three pregnancy/baby books (another half dozen have been loaned or given to me), and I`ve also purchased three or four picture books to read to the baby. That`s it! But I have been given: 2 car seats, a box of beautiful cloth baby toys, a baby gym, a box of g-diapers, and one little jumper like outfit for a newborn. That last was the only thing that came to us new; everything else was gently used. We have to get the baby`s room set up soon so we have someplace to put those things.
