I Know breastfeeding is a pain sometimes But I really truly think you should just do it for at least 3 months cuz the first three months is important. i stopped pumping at 1 1/2 months but i should have waited til he was 3 months

My daughter is 6 1/2 months and i intend to breast feed her until shes is at least 1yr old or longer...i cant imagine boob feeding when she is able to walk, but i pump 3 or more times a day and i store alot of breast milk...and i am also a working mom its hard but its best....good luck

That is a self decision...not one that anyone can make for you. I breast fed my son for 6 months. I would have done it longer but I was a working mother and very hard to pump at work and transport it back home - it got to be too much for me. However, my cousin is still breast feeding her daughter ONLY at night time and she will be three in November. So go figure...personally I think that is a bit too long but who I am to judge....

You should BF for as long as you feel is right for you and your baby ~ what is good for one may or may not be good for you ((()))
