personally I love the name! :] if you and your hubby love it than go for it, who cares what people will think, her friends will end up calling her `Ev` half the time and I love boys names for girls! We thought about naming our little girl Blake so rock the unique names :]

i dont really care for evan, but love roxanne....if your heart is set on Evan, why not femme it up a little and go Evanna (ev-on-ah) or Evelynn. ??? just a suggestion :)

i didn`t vote for any of these choices... I`m not saying that you should use a boring or over-popular name... I like some boy names for girls... but evan for a first name does not sound feminine at all to me... Good luck!

I think it is really cute. We were thinking of naming our baby girl Logan. I love boys names for girls too!

I think it`s a cute name. Maybe u could check out names that are more feminine sounding as a whole name and you could call her Evan as her nickname. This way it causes less confusion when shes a baby and ppl ask her name. Evangelique, Evangela, Evanlee... It`s just a suggestion for what my hubby and I decided to do. We are calling our baby girl Joey, but her full name will be Jolin. Good luck!

did you really want a boy or something? there are a lot of really pretty girls names so why take a boys name? sorry but at school when they say evan everyone is going to be looking around for a guy, like substitute teacher ext.

I love Roxanne, but not Evan. I don`t necessarily love boy names for girls, so I will admit that prejudice, but even taking that into account, I think that Evan is pretty overused lately (for both genders), and there are more unique boy names that you could use for a girl, since you said you like unique names. Good luck, and great choice with the Roxanne middle name!

i love the second name just not to keen on the 1st name, sorry x just a thought but if u use roxanne as a 1st name, she could be called roxy as a nick name plus their are loads of boy names that will sound better with that 4 a middle name eg... roxy lee, roxy sam, roxy joe or how about billy roxanne or billy joe, i love that 4 a girls name xxx
