My daughter is Kaia, my husband is Maori (New Zealander) and in maori Kaia means someone who is strong that you would look up to. High powered.

i kinda like kya and im not so sure how to pronounce the other ones! but theres alot of short names.... one that i like is myra

cute name! I`d say Kaiya or Kaia (not listed, but it makes sense to me with the pronunciation that I think you`re going for - like Maia or Maya with a `K`). The first and middle name sound beautiful together.
