When I was pregnant with my first child and I had my scan they said they thought it was a girl. I was excited but I made them check again at my next scan just to be certain since the first time they said they were only pretty sure. Anyways she came out and is a girl lol good thing too cuz we really didn`t think too hard on a boys name!

in the uk if your having a boy or girl they will not say that it will be 100% because they keep getting sued if they were wrong but i guess she is saying your having a girl buy a couple of thing and keep the recites just incase but i bet u won`t need to take them back, congrats x

They never say for definite what it is so as to cover themselves incase of error. But if they tell you then they are usually pretty sure of the sex, if they were not sure they would just tell you that they couldnt confirm sex.
