I have a `crib tent` of fine mesh that not only protects the baby`s limbs from going through the side of the crib, but also makes a safe `top` on the crib that is SO important when your baby hits about a year old and becomes an escape artist. All it takes is one fall from the height of the crib to injure your baby and give you major guilt! This mesh also seems to be great at keeping mosquitoes off her in the summer, and keeping cats from napping in the crib. As an added bonus, it keeps toys and binkies from falling overboard! Look up the `Cozy Crib` by Tots in Mind on amazon.com. There are photographs of it there as well. I have had these things with all my kids and they are worth their weight in GOLD.

Breathable mesh bumpers ~ can get them at babies r us ~ my SIL used them but I personally prefer the bumpers ~

Hello my dear. I`ve seen safety bumpers that are made from a breathable foam surrounded by mesh cloth. The ties are either very short or velcro. I saw them in a magazine and then at babies `r` us. You could also try using a baby positioner in the crib. It`s just two pieces of foam that go on either side of her, connected underneath her by a piece of fabric. It`ll stop her from squirming to the edge of the crib. By the time she outgrows it, she she will be able to pull her arm back into the crib.

u could always make your own as it could be a lot cheeper
