leonie86 (205.6 days ago)make the bad up for baby but dont put baby under any blankets for at least 2 months swaddle baby (wrap up) and place on top of bedding.
KarenVG (211.3 days ago)swaddle for a while , I used the hugger that keeps the baby in one place for a while. After that with the first baby I did the sheet and the bottom of the crib but second time I loved the sleeping bags like grobags they worked much better for me and also stop them from escaping when they got older.
tto (212.1 days ago)With my son, he wanted to be swaddled for a long time and that kept him warm. He would wear regular jammies and then be swaddled in a chenielle blanket. His bed only had a sheet on top of a protector, bumpers and his sleep positioner. You can feel the head to tell if he or she is warm enough or too warm. Chances are, if he or she is cold, he or she will wake up.
jeanette (212.5 days ago)keep the room cool at about 70 degrees F. Myson was born in winter. He slept in a snap-crotch t-shirt, terri-cloth footed pajamas, and we swaddled him
(but our house was very cold) He slept in our room so that we could monitor the temperatureall night. It also makes feedings easier.
alex76 (212.6 days ago)Always remember to that its safer for a babier to be cold than hot, so just use you`re judment on how many you need. I`d say defo a fitted sheet so it stays in place. I also swaddled my children, it prevents those little hands getting free
RobinG (212.6 days ago)Single fitted bottom sheet, not sheets as in top sheet ~ My boys slept on their sheet with feet towards end of crib and blanket/swaddled ~ some use sleep sacs too but I didnt like them ~ for cold weather fleece sleepers worked best for me :) My boys didnt go into cribs though til 8 plus weeks, they slept in our bed and co-sleeper beds or the soothing motions glider ~
