to be honest i looked up my own name on those meaning websites lol ( sad i know) but i seen that JODIE was meant to be the boy was of spelling it and JODY is the girls way... i always thought it was the oppersite but as my real names jodie..i find it very boring spelling it jodie.. so maybe think about spelling it jodi.. yh it looked different but id prefer to spell it jodi insted of jodie but then again no matter how you spell your childs name they try and change it to suit them and how they like to spell it..
